We’re a one-stop resource for experienced, professional video production crews.  Big Cameras USA is a co-operative marketing program for independent professional camera owner/operators to share the expenses of national and international advertising through the Big Cameras USA website, while continuing to operate their individual businesses.

Intuitive Shooters

Our cameramen are talented, creative, and bring years of real-world experience to each production. Big Cameras USA shooters specialize in high-quality newsmagazine and documentary- style story telling and are dedicated to responsible journalism. Not only do they listen to the director or producer, but they hear every word their subject is saying. Before cameras roll, your cameraman will already understand the subject, the story, and most importantly, the audience.

Quality Lighting

Since Big Cameras shooters have also worked as DPs, they light their own work. Our crews have worked regularly for national programs such as CBS News 48 Hours and 60 Minutes, NBC News Dateline, ABC News 20/20, NOVA, Frontline and Discovery— programs where expert lighting is essential. Big Cameras USA brings these same expert skills to all cable, ad agency, corporate or web based productions.

Equipment Packages

There will always be the basics—a broadcast-quality HD camera and 4-channel audio gear, a large and versatile lighting and grip package, and camera support such as jibs and dollies. There is consistency among equipment packages but check the cameraman’s page to learn which camera format he has invested in, whether it be Sony XDCam, Panasonic HDX-900 or Varicam, or all of the above. Your crew will have everything for a small to medium-sized production, or they can put together a larger package tailored to your specific needs. Insurance and Liability

Each BC USA cameraman carries full liability insurance and if he has employees and it is required in his home state, Worker's Compensation as well. Big Cameras USA video shooters are all independent professionals.
